2nd Qualification of 2022 World Cup’s Asian zonal has identified 39/40 squads attended, the last slot will belong to either Macau (182) or Sri Lanka (202).

Notably, though had to attend in 2022 World Cup 1st Qualifiers, Malaysia NT surprisingly surpassed Indonesia NT to draw into seed group 4. Tan Cheng Hoe’s side has jumped 9 places on the table, coming from a sensational 12-2 win over Timor Lester while Indonesia suffered a wrecking 1-4 defeat to Jordan.

With great results at the FIFA Day’s friendly match in June 2019, Vietnam also leaves Jordan NT behind to rank 97th the world and 15th Asia. This ranking secures the 'Golden Dragon' a slot in the seed group 2 at Asian zonal of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers held on July 17 in Qatar.
